This question already has an answer here:

I've been trying to install the Catalyst stuff as per this web site and I get 'unmet dependencies...'. I'm an old man and I just want to use Mythbuntu.

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
 ia32-libs : Depends: ia32-libs-multiarch

This question was marked as an exact duplicate of an existing question.

First: you should mention the version of Ubuntu and the architecture that you are using (e.g.: Ubuntu 12.04 x64). Second: whenever you are troubleshooting a console problem you should post all the output and the last entered command. – Lucio Apr 3 '13 at 1:02
To solve your problem, try entering sudo apt-get install ia32-libs-multiarch in a terminal and tell us your results. – Lucio Apr 3 '13 at 1:06

Sounds like your APT doesn't have an i386 foreign architecture. I have no idea why this happens to people...

sudo dpkg --add-architecture i386
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install ia32-libs
