I'm trying to get a Netgear WN311T PCI wireless NIC to work. I'll put in what I think will be the relevant diagnostics. I'm confident that it's not the known kernel module not loading bug. It appears that even though the windows driver is loaded and recognized as good by the ndiswrapper it isn't being used to drive the device. I've omitted the non-relevant output of the listed commands.
ndiswrapper -l netwm148 : driver installed device (11AB:2A02) present lsmod | grep ndis ndiswrapper 283307 0 iwconfig eth1 no wireless extensions. lo no wireless extensions. lspci -k 01:09.0 Ethernet controller: Marvell Technology Group Ltd. 88W8361 [TopDog] 802.11n Wireless (rev 03) Subsystem: Netgear WN311T RangeMax Next 300 Mbps Wireless PCI Adapter
The lspci -k output does not present any information about kernel drivers in use or kernel modules that it does for the other correctly working hardware in the system. I installed the kernel module from source, and the utils from package. Installed versions of the ndiswrapper: kernel module version 1.58, utils version 1.9.
