I upgraded from Generic Ocelot and am currently having the problem with my networking/wifi card on my Inspiron 1545 ,network adapter broadcom model BCM 4312 . Found : http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1061710 but my problems stem from two sources : 1) I do not have the knowledge to build from source using diswrapper and 2) I do not have a wired connection to the internet right now . If it helps here the drivers I found :http://www.broadcom.com/support/802.11/linux_sta.php but could not follow trough with the instructions, since I dont understand them. Thanks in advance.

Please edit your question to add your exact card details from the terminal command: lspci -nn –  chili555 Mar 26 '13 at 15:17

It is not Lspci -nn it is lspci -nn In other words, a lower-case L. Also, there is a space between lspci and -nn. lspci -nn. –  chili555 Mar 27 '13 at 14:37
