So for a long time i had windows xp but i wanted to install ubuntu so i burned with CDBurnerXP and when i go to other pc's its works but when i go to my older it doesnt. It just shows a black screen with a dash on the top of left corner blinking. I've tried burn it again and it didnt worked and my older pc doesnt accept usb as a boot. What can i do? PS: The pc that im trying to install is old.

ive tried the alternative install and it does the same thing. –  FredyR4zor Mar 19 '13 at 15:50
for installation time try to disable other disks. Leave just one to format and clean installing system. Also first try to load LiveCD session. If it's works then obviously possible incorrect disks configuration or boot problem. –  swift Mar 19 '13 at 16:37
Nope. When i put the dvd and reboot my pc it freezes with a blocm screen with a dash blinking. I've tried wubi and it works. But the dvd doesnt. BUT when i go to other computer i can do it fine! And i can install Windows XP fine but i cant ubuntu! –  FredyR4zor Mar 19 '13 at 17:00
