My 1TB Seagate had some strange error which caused it to fail to mount. I ran the command:
fsck.ext4 -cDfty -C 0 /dev/sdb1
The hard drive then stopped making strange clicking noises. Unfortunately, my efforts seem to have corrupted my LUKS1 encrypted drive, and when I supply the three character passphrase, it tells me there is no key available with this passphrase.
So I know the passphrase, but am locked out of my own hard disk. Is there a way to access the data?
