I used Ubuntu 12.10 alongside Windows 7. I got a problem when I tried to connect a Wifi. The message was "Your current network has a .local domain, which is not recommended and incompatible with the Avahi network service discovery. The service has been disabled."

after that I used this command

sudo gedit /etc/default/avahi-daemon

and changed the line

AVAHI_DAEMON_DETECT_LOCAL=1

to

AVAHI_DAEMON_DETECT_LOCAL=0

and save the file. And then, in the command line type

sudo gedit /etc/init/avahi-daemon.conf

and change the line

start on (filesystem and started dbus)

to

start on (never and filesystem and started dbus)

but now I can't connect to the internet.. please help me
