Files won't show up in DLNA end point (Samsung TV)

Question

I have installed both XBMC and miniDLNA in an effort to have a DLNA server to stream videos from my machine to my samsung tv. The TV recognizes both XBMC and miniDLNA under its source, but when I go to the video directory on my samsung there is nothing there? I thought it might be a permissions issue on the home/video, so I made the permissions Create and Delete for owner, group, and other. Still nothing. Any idea?
