I've been using Remmina on 12.04.2 to connect to my MacBook and it works a treat giving me input and decent refresh rates. I tried it with another Ubuntu machine as a client however and I get the first frame as a still image and no more data from there. I can see the mouse moving on the other machine as well as keyboard input, so the issue is purely graphical.

I've tried using dconf-editor to uncheck disable-xdamage to false, but it didn't have any effect, even after a reboot.

Any ideas how I can get it working with Ubuntu? The server on the other machine is configured for access with a password I have stored here in the client which is how it connects in the first place. Can't imagine what the problem is.
