Hi I get to the state where apt-get isn't able to install almost anything. This is my original question: all packages keep unmeting dependencies all the time Now I gave up searching for what is wrong and I only wonder if I can remove all manualy instaled packeges and install all packages I removed.
I imagine it this way:
- I would remove
/etc/apt/sources.listand let the software center generete new one for me with original repositories.
- I would run
dpkg --get-selectionsto see what I manualy installed and removed and I would do just the oposite. (Remove manualy installed packages and install removed packages.)
Would this solve all package dependency problems and return the ubuntu to state after installation?
