(follow up to this - Sharing internet between mac mini (with ubuntu) and android - I guess)
I want to share a wired connection wirelessly.
The only way I found is to set the wired connection as "Shared to other computers" in network settings.
However - I now found out that if I do that, it will turn off DHCP the next time I connect to the wired network for some reason.
How can I share the network and not turn off the DHCP? Is this a bug?
edit: ...it started working suddenly. And it sometimes stops working again. Depending on what I turn on first - the wired or the wireless network.
Ubuntu's network sharing is really unreliable and it stops and starts working absolutely randomly. sigh Ubuntu works in mysterious ways.
