Installing Aircrack-ng on Ubuntu 12.04 The recent ubuntu 12.04 cut out aircrack-ng from their repository. So here is an easy step by step guild to get it installed again

apt-get install build-essential libssl-dev wget http://download.aircrack-ng.org/aircrack-ng-1.1.tar.gz tar -zxvf aircrack-ng-1.1.tar.gz cd aircrack-ng-1.1 gedit common.mak

Replace the line

CFLAGS ?= -g -W -Wall -Werror -O3

to:

CFLAGS ?= -g -W -Wall -O3

Then save it and close gedit

make sudo make install

for more info go through Can't install aircrack-ng
