Ask Ubuntu is a question and answer site for Ubuntu users and developers. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I use Ubuntu as my primary OS, but I have also installed Fedora to see what all the hype is about. I made the stupid decision of making them share swap space, not thinking of the consequences on hibernation (my laptop supported hibernation before this). I have removed that swap space from Fedora's fstab, and even tried deleting and remaking the swap space (yes, I did change the uuid in Ubuntu's fstab). Is there any way I can fix this without doing a clean install?
