Hello I have downloaded the Ubuntu 12.04 live ISO and alternate ISO for ppc g5.

I put them everyone in a CD and try to boot it holding C at restart and so far the only thing that I get is a blank screen, nothing else, no icon, no terminal, no nothing.

I have luck with Lubuntu 12.04, not with Ubuntu. But I need Ubuntu. Any ideas?

My PPC mac g5 early 2006 dual 2Ghz, 1Gb RAM, 1TB HDD, Nvidia GeForce 6600 256Mb HD screen.

ok, but how I can make this to recognize my graphic card...is an nvidia, lubuntu 12.04 install with any problem, not the same with UBUNTU...how come? is there a way to surpass it, I cannot even install. – Gustavo Duenas Mar 1 at 19:17
