I recently purchased a Fuji Xerox DocuPrint CM205b and can't get it working with Ubuntu. I found a response to a similar question here - http://askubuntu.com/a/94516/110753 - but the response is a little too ambiguous for me to understand the process. Apparently I can "install the Mac drivers, or since it's a laser printer, [I] can likely use one of the generic PostScript drivers."
The PostScript drivers do not work - I've tried all of them that I can find under 'Generic' in the 'Add Printer' menu. I've tried a few of the listed Xerox printer drivers without much luck. I've managed to get the LCD screen to light up, which signifies a response - but nothing else.
How would I go about installing the Mac drivers, since apparently that's possible? I've located them here.
