I'm a linux newbie. I have a problem when booting on my laptop (lenovo u310) with dual boot windows 7 64 bit and elementary OS. The screen goes blank / black after i choose grub menu IF my wifi and/or usb cable to my modem turned on. I had to hard reset the machine, choose safe mode and repair grub to be able to logging in.
I know the solution is simple, turned off wifi and/or unplug the usb cable to my modem before logging in. But the problem is my wifi hardware should be switched on from my windows setting, using Lenovo Energy Management software if not my linux cannot use the wifi. I have searched the internet for the solution but still can't find any solution for this. Thanks guys. Any help would really appreciated. Oh yeah, sorry for my english.
