I've just installed Ubuntu 12.10 on my Dell N5050 and the touchpad experience is downright horrible. Not that it's much better on Windows, but at least I have enough settings to play with to make it usable.
I've tried gpointing-device-settings (or something like that) so far, but, as far as I can tell, it can't adjust the overall sensitivity of the device. Sensitivity in Ubuntu's settings is already at a minimum.
Are there any other things that I could try?
