Ask Ubuntu is a question and answer site for Ubuntu users and developers. It's 100% free, no registration required.

So I followed the release notes and installed Ubuntu Touch Preview (on my Nexus 4) via a 32-bit version of Ubuntu loaded up on a VM.

Now that Ubuntu is working on my phone, I'd like to revert back to Android.. But I can't seem to access the devices through adb. Connecting the device and typing "adb devices" through either windows or ubuntu shows me an empty list.

And help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Edit : If anyone has the same issue as me, reboot to bootloader using Volume down and Power key. Once in bootloader, you can either go to recovery and restore your nandroid (if you made one...), or access your phone through ADB to perform the command in the Restoration tutorial found below
