after making it bootable, with help of universal usb putting a persistent file ,, ive downloaded wine, themes, application so this must be stored in my usb. but when i shutdown my pc then turning it on it boot well but the file's i've downloaded lost?

another case after costumizing my ubuntu-11.10-desktop-i386 in my usb, putting some apps. themes, wine ... then shutdown my laptop.. unpluged my usb boot in my windows...after using windows turn off my pc.change my boot priority to my usb where ubuntu-11.10-desktop-i386 installed...it fails to boot it say's error. ..failed..it doesn't work... is there a solution for this?

Ubuntu 11.10 ? Thats ready to end in 2 months. I suggest you to have a move with either Ubuntu 12.04 LTS or Ubuntu 12.10. – Jai Feb 19 at 16:19
