I love Ubuntu and use it on my laptop, and would love to use it on my desktop as well. The problem I am having though is that when Ubuntu downloads updates via the Software Updater, everything seems fine, but when I restart, my networking connections are unavailable. I know some people have asked about this before, but my problem is a bit more complicated. When I say my network connections are unavailable, I mean every connection, wired or wireless is unavailable, so I cannot issue terminal commands to install software. (The Ethernet never worked with Ubuntu, but I am not too concerned with that.)

My networking card is a Broadcom BCM43228. Like I said, it works before I update, but stops after I update. Is there a driver or something I could download to install offline?

Thanks!
