I am currently using 2 versions of steam, the Linux one for games compatible with Linux, and the windows version in wine for games which are not compatible. I was wondering if it is possible to get wine to work on games in Linux steam (the one not using wine) , so I do not have to switch back and forth between the two steams.

For many reasons it is not possible to easily run Steam for Windows library games through the newly released Steam for Linux client. It is possible to run Steam for Windows client through Wine and have Steam for Linux client on the same Ubuntu install which would save having to reboot or taking other action in order to use the two different clients. |
