I have 04 running and I got a wireless USB card that I had working for a long time with ndiswrapper. I had to reinstall my Ubuntu and my wireless is no longer working. I went to the CD to install the ndis.deb files via the terminal and it gives me tons of errors like

Failed to load GTK bindings. Please check your Gnome installation.

When I run Gnome with Unity it nags me for missing dependencies so i can't even open the program. I go and get them and then it has more. I don't remember it being like this. Is it because I didn't update my system? I've tried everything to get it working and I really don't want to download hundreds of python debs. I'm on my Windows machine for now.
