I've got Ubuntu 12.10 installed on my laptop (Acer Aspire One KAV60) and set the Power Options to do nothing when closing the lid when the charger is plugged in, but when I close it and reopen the laptop, the screen is off.

I can get it to power on for a second by moving the mouse or pressing a key, but it quickly powers off. I can switch to other ttys with Ctrl-Alt-F1-6 and this doesn't happens, but as soon as I switch to the desktop, the screen powers off. The only way to fix this is by restarting the PC. How can I fix this? Thanks!
