I am trying to use the Nvidia accelerated proprietary driver. I am currently trying to use the one from the https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat/+archive/x-updates as none of the others including the one I downloaded from the nvidia website worked.
I have tried tips from various websites. My lubuntu boots to a blue screen then goes black. The open source driver works, but is not very quick.
This is lubuntu which runs lxde instead of unity
