I have Acer Travelmate C110 with Ubuntu 11.10 and Lenovo Thinkpad Windows 7 64 bit. I wanted to share may Ubuntu desktop so I can access it from Windows 7. I rightclick on the desktop folder and try to share it. Ubuntu automatically installs samba. I log out and back in. i try to share again. I get:

'net usershare' returned error 255: net usershare add: cannot convert name "Everyone" to a SID. The connection was refused. Maybe smbd is not running

I cannot see the Ubuntu machine under Windows 7 > Explorer > Network.

Thanks for any help
