I'm sure this is a bug, but I decided to run this by here first.

OS specs: Ubuntu 12.10. Multiboot.

I have a Roccat keyboard and a CM mouse.

When I turn off the computer, the LED illumination does not turn off. When I suspend my computer, however, the LED illumination does turn off.

I have to boot up to another OS then shut down if I want the LED illumination to turn off.

Is this normal on a multi-booting computer?

Welcome to AskUbuntu! I had the same problem with my Lenovo T61, which was eventually solved when newer kernels came out. Right now, there isn't enough information in your question for anyone to try to help.
