I am currently using an Acer Aspire One KAV60 netbook and want to run it on Ubuntu 12.10. I want to add this netbook to an already existing network that consists of 3 other laptops that run on Windows XP and Windows 7 respectively. I am not a 'technology wizard' but I would really like to try out Ubuntu.

How do I proceed? Any help would be much appreciated.
