Does your machine still connect via ethernet? How did you install 12.04? Are you using Wubi as a virtual disk or did you partition your drive? –  djthoms Jan 31 '13 at 6:41

my machine connects when i plug wired internet like modem to it, only wireless is broke because it wont find any, i used live-cd to install, so wubi. and i didnt exactly partition, i just used the option "install alongside windows vista" –  user127478 Jan 31 '13 at 6:45

Okay, so you're using a virtual disk of Ubuntu. Check your windows OS and you should see Ubuntu literally inside of your Windows file system. Did wireless work with the Live CD? Do you have any additional drives that can be installed? Is your wireless card supported? –  djthoms Jan 31 '13 at 6:49
