Calling up certain websites shows the Message "PLUGIN not found" although both Open Java AND Sun Java are definitely installed (just redid both products). This is happenning for both browsers. I have tried with Ubuntu Software Center and tar.gz command line installs, nothing creates a recognised Java system, although all installs execute apparently OK.
Where does Ubuntu register the Java installations?
NB running the "Java detect" from the Sun website also fails to detect Java, so I guess the installations are going to a "wrong" folder location
