Can someone help me to install Nvidia proprietary driver 310.32 on Ubuntu 12.10 (x86). I get clean install with all quantal-security and quantal-updates. Kernel is 3.5.0-22. Have Intel HD 3000 and GT 540M (with Optimus). I want to get Bumblebee from PPA and last driver 310.32 but intall driver by myself NOT from x-swat or xorg-edgers PPA. I have read many times many path, but every time has a disappearing of Unity after reboot. Need help, please. Thanks.

Is the problem with installing the driver, or with the disappearing of Unity? – mikewhatever Jan 28 at 16:05
