It's not about my Ubuntu 12.10 x64, but also My Mint Cinnamon x64. When I press shutdown, it becaming shutdown. Power indicator of CPU turn off for a second, then the computer turn on. I have to boot from Windows 7 (loader) to turn off my computer.

It might be the same with this case, but I have multi OS installed on my computer with Windows 7 loader. I have try several ways to solve this problem but nothing happens. I still have to boot from Windows 7 if I have to turn off my computer.

Which version of Mint are you using ? and on which machine, means brand model etc. ? I had the exactly same problem on my Toshiba L850 running Ubuntu 12.10 but it was resolved after an upgrade. This can a bug in kernel which in effect reflect in all the 12.04/12.10 derivatives. I am not sure though, try upgrading. – Gufran Jan 28 at 13:54
my mint is 14.1 Cinnamon x64. they're all upgraded in the last time, also upgrade with Kernel v3.7.2. it's the same problem with my Ubuntu x86 installed on my computer. – Leonardo Jan 28 at 14:12
