I'we tried to install Ubuntu 12.04 as my second OS. On my PC I have 3 partitions - C where is Win 7, D and I made about 100 GB free space on E( I'we shrinked that partition from 200 GB ) where I planed to instal Ubuntu. I'we downloaded Ubuntu 12.04.1 desktop amd64, made bootable disk restarted the PC and when I wanted to boot from CD and nothing happens. As a matter of fact, I just see sometnihg like snowing on screen ( diferent color changes ) but instalation doesen't start. After turning on PC BIOS starts, I see the page of ubuntu like starting page and thats all, instalation doesent start. What to do to solve this problem? Short sumary of my PC - AMD Athlon X4 quad core 2.6 GHZ cpu, 4 Gb ram, 500 Gb HD, powercolor amd radeon HD6450 grafics..
