so i have unbuntu 12.10 and i have two big problems: first one is everytime i turn on my laptop with ubuntu there is a message that appears for a really sort time saying :no wilbur what does that mean and how to fix it ?

second one is i cant reboot ubuntu shutting down and loging out is fine but when i reboot it just freezes with the ubuntu logo. how can i fix this ?

Welcome to Ask Ubuntu! Keep your number of questions (issues) to one per post, please. And with "no wilbur", you mean "no wubildr" perhaps? If so, this means you're running a Wubi (in-Windows) installation. – gertvdijk Jan 27 at 1:52
