First of all I am not an expert. A week ago my hdd crashed down and I was not able to use my computer, I couldnt install windows or even Ubuntu, but i was able to use the ubuntu without installing it. Then my Computer Science teacher deleted the partitions from my HDD and we made 2 new partitions. After all I wasnt able to boot from usb and run the ubuntu -without installing- version. I tried everything with that but it just couldn't work. That was a Hitachi HDD- 160 Gb and I have an Acer Aspire 7520 laptop.
Today my father gave me his (internal) HDD -120 Gb- and I am able to use the ubuntu -without installing- version but I still cannot install that. I formated the HDD from his computer and took it to mine, and used my usb to boot from that, but that didnt work so I took files to my HDD (as if that was an usb) and i can ran the without installing version, but I still cannot install Ubuntu.
Thank you in advance.
