I am using Ubuntu 12.04 LTS. I removed libreoffice and tried to install openoffice which ruined my Software Center and I cannot install any software now.

Whenever I open Software Center the following warning pops:

Items cannot be installed or removed until package catalog is repaired

I tried to repair the catalog by apt-get install -f, the output is shown below.

I removed it by: sudo apt-get remove libreoffice*.* –  microMolvi Jan 28 '13 at 9:23
