The solution given in How do I disable the Super key? does not work, for me at least.

Specifically, changing the setting for Key to show the launcher from Super to Alt via ccsm has no apparent effect whatsoever: pressing the Super key continues to invoke the launcher. (This behavior persists even after the system is restarted.)

Is there a sure-fire, reliable method for disabling the Super key?

Anyone know if the solutions posted in the link provided by OP still work for more recent versions of Unity? – vasa1 Jan 21 at 6:52
