i want to disable file transferring option in skype in ubuntu 11.10 machine. the files can be leaked and i was orderd to maintain security and disable file transfer through skype.

if it is possible kindly provide me a solution ,i in trouble .how can i do this as this can be done in window through Registry edit.

but in ubuntu how can we disable file transferring option of skype.

You could do if file transfer uses a different port than the voice / image / control communications. Just monitorize your connections and start a new transfer, to verify how the application behaves. – jap1968 Jan 19 at 13:39
