I am using an Acer Aspire 5536 and the wireless internet no longer works, except on some occasions where it connects to the internet, until i turn it off again and then it will not work again.
I suspect an issue with the driver. However, as a newby to the world of linux i need some guidance.

If you boot a live CD, without installing, does it work from on the live CD? – Ken Jan 18 at 21:16
I don't know as i upgraded straight from ubuntu 12.04 to 12.10. It worked fine on 12.04 so not sure why it isnt working now – Tim Crossley Jan 18 at 21:49
