I've noticed that Unity won't work unless my laptop is connect with a wired connection. I don't know how to use the interface wirelessly.

Welcome to Ask Ubuntu! Are you sure about that you know what Unity is? It's the default desktop environment of Ubuntu, but it works irrelevant of network connections. Did you mean something else perhaps? "The Internet" perhaps? – gertvdijk Jan 18 at 2:24
