I have been using Netbeans for awhile and kept it on the launcher. One day Netbeans crashed and now I cannot find it. How can I get it back on the launcher? Where would it be in the filesystem?

It is still installed since I can run it from the command line by typing netbeans, however I frequently use it and would like it on the launcher.

I am very new to UNIX and still am trying to learn the basics.

Can you find netbeans by searching in the dash ? (press the "super key / windows key" and search netbeans. If so, you can simply drag the icon to the side launcher. – Steffen Christensen Jan 16 at 18:31
