I wanted to install Ubuntu into dualboot with Windows Vista. I launched windows installer and installed ubuntu on an empty hard drive. When i tried to launch ubuntu, i got this: Violet screen with text "ubuntu" and few running dots, then it turns over to black screen and it writes 

failed to idle channel 2
failed to idle channel 3

and it turns off.

Please, I would really appreciate your help.
