I was using 11.10 fresh install then on terminal I typed

sudo do-release-upgrade

but it fails to upgrade to Ubuntu 12.04 here is the log http://paste.ubuntu.com/1534446/

Could not install the upgrades

The upgrade has aborted. Your system could be in an unusable state. A
recovery will run now (dpkg --configure -a).

after this I do a reboot and do

sudo aptitude clean
sudo dpkg --configure -a

and again try for

sudo do-release-upgrade

but I do not get any success and things are back to like the ones I posted above. Let me know what should I do to move from 11.10 to 12.04
