I am just serfing with Chromium and suddenly everything starts crashing.. The musics plays for 1 sec, pause for half, plays one second etc.. mouse is barely movable, everything in screen becomes pixelated and then i am loggout out unable to do anything ( force to crash my laptop with power button.. Either Alt+F1 either anything i try doesn't work... )

I don't know if this has something to do with the often start-up warnings of XOrg...

Are you running out of memory or swap? – ObsessiveSSOℲ Jan 15 at 12:45
Have you taken a look at the process manager, e.g. top? See if you can spot some programmes taking up excessive amount of memory or CPU when the crash is starting to occur. – Tomas Jan 15 at 13:13
And is the problem only when you use Chromium? If so, did you try another profile, turn off extensions, clear cache, etc. – vasa1 Jan 15 at 15:24
