Do I have to configure something in order to be able to access windows network shares? When opening the path smb://servername.fqdn/c$ in nautilus, I'll get a login mask asking for user, domain and password. When submitting the requested information, the same login mask appears again. I have tried this with different accounts, all of which work under Windows.
Do I have to configure something in order Ubuntu beeing able to connect to the server? While using 12.04, I added my client to the windows domain with the help of likewise-open. I did this for some other reason (windows authenticates to the proxy using the windows-logon, I tought adding my Ubuntu to the domain would help me with that, which it didn't) and I don't see the need to do this again in 12.10. I had no problems accessing the shares then.
