i'm having 2047 badblocks in my HDD, and to remove them i'v to make all hdd as ext3 drive and currently my whole hdd is unallocated(free space)...but while creating ext3 partition using Disk utility, it is showing error message "Daemon is inhibited".
tell me what to do in order to make ext3 drive...???
as i'v no OS installed in my lappy i'm running ubuntu with live cd.
i also tried G parted partition editior but it is not responding it is only scanning devices and obviously showing nothing.
