Ask Ubuntu is a question and answer site for Ubuntu users and developers. It's 100% free, no registration required.

This is a followup to this question. As soon as I launch Ubuntu Core Nexus 7 Installer, check Install Ubuntu on Nexus 7 and push OK, the instalation status bar got stuck.

enter image description here

It lasts for quite a long time.

So does anybody have any guesses?

P.S. For those who would like to vote for closing this question as "not a real question" like it was with the one I referred to in the beginning -- please believe me that it's a real one.

Frankly speaking I got some doubts about identifying this issue as a bug, at least as a bug in Ubuntu Nexus Installer. Probably the thing is in images I download or how it's combined with my tablet, or something else. I believe I'm not the only one who have experienced this issue so firstly I'd like to have some statistics: "me-too"s comments, guesses, maybe some workarounds etc. – Zapadlo Jan 10 at 18:24
"me-too's" are not allowed on this site and get delete as spam usually. I would try asking for help in one of the android related forums. As Ubuntu on a Nexus is VERY new your best bet for support is going to be launchpad.... Just like your last question. – coteyr Jan 10 at 18:46
ok, thanks for advice – Zapadlo Jan 10 at 18:50

Ubuntu on a Nexus is not off-topic, in fact, the mobile team at Canonical are subscribed to the mobile tag. Having said that, this does look like a bug, so I would try reporting it as a bug. – Flimm Jan 10 at 19:25
