This is not the first time that it happens. When I'm watching a DVD on Ubuntu, after sometime, it starts pausing. The CPU goes 100% (wa). I get these messages on syslog:

For example, today I was watching a movie on Totem and, after 1 hour, I recieved this error:
Could not read DVD. This may be because the DVD in encrypted and a DVD decryption library is not installed.
I've already tried to use VLC and Totem. It happens on both.
I'm using Ubuntu 12.04 64-bits - Intel Core 2 Duo 1.86GHz - 2MB RAM - DVD-RW LG.
