I am using ubuntu 12.04, I accidently deleted my wireless network connection from edit connections option, now my wifi network is not appearing in the list of available networks and also when i am trying to add the wifi connection manually it's not connecting, though everything works fine on my windows 7. I want to know if there's any way i can connect to wifi, please help

EDIT

here's the output for sudo ifconfig
