How to Install Broadcom / STA Wireless card (BCM43XX)

I have a Gateway laptop model number MA7 and I can't get it to connect to wireless. I've done Google searches and forum searches to find out how and I've run the commands through the terminal to list hardware and none come up as the wireless adapter. One of the outputs is this:

*-network UNCLAIMED
            description: Network controller
            product: BCM4311 802.11b/g WLAN
            vendor: Broadcom Corporation
            physical id: 0
            bus info: pci@0000:03:00.0
            version: 01
            width: 32 bits
            clock: 33MHz
capabilities: pm msi pciexpress bus_master cap_list
            configuration: latency=0
            resources: memory:d6000000-d6003fff

I'm not sure if this is what I'm looking for.
