I'm trying to install slapd. I did dpkg-reconfigure and pressed Ctrl+C in between, and after that this is what I get:

apt-get install slapd ldap-utils

ldap-utils is already the newest version.

Your question is not clear. Was slapd successfully installed at some point in the past? What did you change in the slapd configuration? Post any file that you changed. Edit the file /var/lib/dpkg/slapd.postinst, add set -x as the second line, run apt-get -f install and post the transcript. –  Gilles Jan 8 '13 at 21:18
