I had some problem with ubuntu software center so i uninstalled it then reinstalled using following command(s) in terminal

sudo apt-get install software-center

And I got this as output:

Package software-center is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source
E: Package 'software-center' has no installation candidate

using what command you removed software center? sudo apt-get remove software-center ? – geoh Jan 8 at 12:21
